What's Inspected During A Home Inspection

The home inspection will start with the exterior of the home including sidewalks, porches, decks ,patios and vegetation close to the home.  If the roof is accessible from a ladder it will be inspected directly.  Chimneys, gutters, downspouts and the roof surface condition will be observed and reported. 

Inspection of the interior of the home includes electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning along with general construction.  All areas that are accessible will be inspected including above ceiling areas or attics. Heating and air conditioning equipment will be operated as long as conditions permit safe operation.

Attached garages will be inspected along with the operation of the garage doors.  Unattached garages and accessory buildings will be inspected upon request.
